This facility was designed not only as a general school auditorium but also as an auditorium for the performing arts. This facility is used by the school for such needs as music, speech and drama instruction, assembly, and lecture.

The facility has a total seating capacity of 1,500 on two levels. The working stage has a 60′ x 24′ proscenium opening with complete fly gallery, side stages and scene shop. The lobby is presently used for display of school artwork and sculpture.

The Center is equipped with complete theatrical lighting and sound systems that are capable of housing the most complete Broadway or touring road show productions. The HVAC systems consist of large constant volume and single zone variable volume rooftop units. All ductwork systems are designed for low velocity airflow distribution.

This project consisted of new street lighting and electrical system improvements for twelve city blocks around the Square of Fayetteville. New street lighting and power for display, marketing, Christmas decorations, etc. was provided along Block Avenue, East Avenue, Center Street and Mountain Street. Lighting ordinances for the City of Fayetteville were met.

In addition to the street lighting upgrades, the electrical systems for the interior of the city square were upgraded. Low profile pathway lighting was added for the walking trail inside of the Square. New electrical panels were placed at the four intersections of the Square for Christmas lighting and also to accommodate vendors during the “Farmer’s Market” events held twice weekly as the seasons allow. New street lighting and accent lighting controls were condensed to one location on the Square. Conduits are roughed-in for future expansion of the new electrical systems and street lighting.

Subsequent to this project we worked with the City of Fayetteville on a one mile trail lighting project at Wilson Park and additional street lighting upgrades along College Avenue and Dickson Street.
